There are three strands of workshops.
- In the beginning - For new leaders and people interested in leading for the first time.
- Along the road - For experienced leaders who have been working in youth ministry before.
- Going ahead - For Youth Pastors and Camp Directors or those in charge of leading leaders.

In The Beginning
Playing it safe
An introduction to safe ministry, including how to protect yourself as well as the young people you work with; critical incidents, risk management, confidentiality, and what to do if you are concerned for a young persons safety. Important information and skills that all leaders need to know.
Getting to the point
Ideas and tips for explaining the Gospel to young people and how to confidently share your testimony.
Making Connections
Ideas for how you can connect with young people and make meaningful conversation. Helping you go beyond "So what's your favourite subject?"
Then you do this....
Ideas for games and activities as well as tips on how to run them effectively. Exploring things like: how do you get them to listen to you? How can you clearly explain a game? How do you effectively put a series of activities together?
Along The Road
Putting Pen to Paper
Ideas and tips on how to prepare effective Bible studies, devotions and talks.
Stages & ages
Kids development & how it affects their understanding of faith and how you can use this information to work more effectively with young people.
Keeping all the balls in the air
Tips and ideas on how to plan and run an effective programme, whether it be for an afternoon or a week.
.Small group strategies
Helping kids get the most out of small groups. How do you get them talking? How do you ask effective questions? How do you manage different opinions? How do you stop that one person answering all the questions? All this and more will be answered.
Going Ahead
What happens when it all hits the fan?
A large scale scenario activity that allows you to put into practice critical incident protocols.
2am text
You get that SMS at 2am that says a kid has been kicked out of home, what do you do now? Strategies & resources for working with young people in crisis, whether it be big or small.
Getting Unstuck
Strategies for helping kids find ways through issues. It's not about you needing to have all the answers, but rather being able to ask the right questions to help them clarify for themselves what they need to do.
